Where Village Life Blooms
Nestled in the heart of Pustaka Gramam — Kerala's first and India's second "Book Village" — KoKo is more than just a farm; it is a bridge to our roots.
Kochattan, a symbol of the older generation who lives in harmony with nature, is your guide to this timeless world. He is a storehouse of local knowledge, traditions, and the simple joys of village life. Through his eyes, you'll see a world where every tree has a story and every path leads to a memory.
Close your eyes and picture it: a thatched mud hut with cow-dung-polished floors, a wild-vine swing (ഊഞ്ഞാൽ) hung from the courtyard tree, calves and goat-kids skipping across the beaten-earth yard. A lantern (റാന്തൽ) and a sheaf of ripe paddy hang from the eaves; an open well waits with its palm-spathe bucket. Inside, the kitchen keeps time with the attukallu and arakallu — grinding stones that have flavoured village meals for generations.
This is the world we want to hand back to you — where children rediscover forgotten games, old recipes are cooked on old stone, and grown-ups find a quiet pause from the rush of modern life.

ഒപ്പം കൊച്ചാട്ടനും
We grew up with this life — and we always wanted to hand it on, exactly as we received it.
Kochattante Kolayi is the dream of two brothers from Pustaka Gramam: to weave Kerala's many living traditions into one place, and carry our little village onto the world's map. We keep walking toward it — with a clear plan and a long view — and Kochattan walks beside us.

Stays unlike any other — on the way
Our dream is to let you sleep inside the village itself — a handful of one-of-a-kind stays, each a different way to wake up to the farm.
We're opening with day visits, gatherings and events first, and the first cottage close behind. More stays will rise as the farm grows — slowly, on the land's own terms.
